What is a driver IC?

LED is a light-emitting diode. When the number of diodes is large or the tube consumes a lot of power, it needs to be driven, and it is driven in several stages. These stages are driven into an integrated electronic chip. This chip is called a driver IC. Simply put, it plays the role of providing compensation current to the diode.
