Definition of Precision instrument

Precision instrument refers to the equipment and devices used to generate and measure precision, including the observation, monitoring, determination, verification, recording, transmission, transformation, display, analysis, processing and control of precision. Precision instrument is an important branch of instrumentation. There are many kinds of precision instruments with different structures. For the precision instrument used for measurement, its structure can be divided into eight functional components, such as reference, sensing conversion, conversion amplification transmission, aiming/reading, data processing, display recording, drive control, mechanical structure. However, it does not mean that a precision instrument must contain the above eight functional components, but should be selected according to the functional requirements of the instrument.
