After the analog signal is amplified, it needs to be converted into a digital signal before the computer can process and store it. The analog/digital converter is an integrated circuit chip that converts the analog signal into a digital signal under the specified accuracy and other indicators. The analog/digital converter is abbreviated as A/D converter or ADC (Analog to Digital Converter).
